HOW TO AVOID DISTRACTION
Keep staying focus is tough goal.
The distractions that surround us aren’t going anywhere so the best thing we
can do, learn how to overcome them. People who spend short time in doing big
task are actually highly focused. Unfortunately at school level we’ve never
been taught how to stay focused. We remain unfamiliar with term known as
distraction management. Ultimately this scenario results in poor grades and
make us feel inferior. This blog will help you to transform yourself from hard
worker to smart worker.

Focus plays critical role in your success or failure. Focus reduces effort in accomplishing a task. Maximum output with little effort is possible when your mind is under your control. Have you ever tried to control your mind by managing your thoughts on pre-planned pattern?
Human mind is wired in a way that it operate according to the
functions which you feed inside it. So it depends on you how you operate your
mind to achieve your set goals. Our mind comes up with millions of thoughts in
a day. You have to build filter inside your brain to screen out positive thoughts
which makes you feel energetic, hungrier and more focused towards your dreams.
Here is how to get started on mastering this discipline.
- 1. Identify cause of distraction
You know yourself best.
Distraction may not be external. Perhaps you are dealing with some internal and
emotional distraction. Try to figure out real cause of your distraction and

Research study shows that human mind
can concentrate for 25-30 minutes consistently. Set 25 minutes reading interval. When you start feeling distracted take a 5 minute nape to refocus yourself. 5
minute break will boost your mind’s working efficiency and bring you back to
the present moment.
- 4. Go offline
Nowadays social media is the biggest distraction.
Social media notifications divert your attention which ultimately stops you
from achieving 100% level of concentration. If you want real focus, take
yourself offline until you have accomplished what you need to do.
- 5. Break it down
Sometime distractions are high. You can’t pay full attention on your work even during set time period. When you are dealing with this situation, break down large project into smaller task to help you concentrate to finish your task within specified time frame. Write down every step necessary from start to finish.

The deadline brings real
commitment and focus. If you want to take guesswork out of navigating life
successfully growing and making the things you want to happen, you have to set
deadline. Strategic deadline help you move closer to your goal every day, week
and month.
- 7. Keep moving on with same pace/momentum
No doughty focus plays critical
role in your success but keep sticking with your pre plan schedule consistently
is another most important actor. You have to remain consistent and not fall off
track. Don’t utilize your complete energy in initial days off work, save it for
the remaining task to maintain momentum.
